Atlantic Sheepdogs

Atlantic Sheepdogs is found along the Wild Atlantic Way in Streedagh, Grange, Co. Sligo. The farm is nestled underneath the famous Benbulben Mountain to the east and overlooks Streedagh Beach to the west, the historic site of the Spanish Armada wreck of 1588.

Martin Feeney is a well-known sheepdog handler, with over twenty years experience to his name. Having learned the skill of sheepdog handling from his father, Martin has travelled the world over; both competing in and judging trials on an international stage.

Join Martin on the Atlantic Sheepdogs experience, where you will get a taste of life on an Irish sheep farm. Watch as Martin and his trusty sheepdog companions guide sheep around the farm. Learn the history of the border collie, as well as how the dogs are trained.

Not only will you meet all of the Atlantic Sheepdogs, but also a variety of breeds of sheep - not to mention puppies and lambs depending on the time of year.

Both traditional and modern sheep shearing demonstrations are available on request.
