Zenshin Karate Dojo

Structured karate classes taught by Steve Collins, 3rd degree black belt in a safe and controlled environment. Students learn the discipline of this traditional martial art, improving co-ordination, fitness, confidence, flexibility, and self defense all in a fun manner. Classes suitable for both adults and children.

Zenshin Karate Dojo started in 2017 by Steve Collins. The Japanese term stems from the two Kanji characters 漸 (Zen) and 進 (Shin). Literally, it means to gradually progress, or advance steadily, reflecting on the years of training karate requires. This in my opinion is one of the important aspects to any martial art, especially in today's world. At Zenshin Karate Dojo, we constantly remind ourselves that accepting the long road ahead, and enjoying it, is part of the process to greatness, as opposed to the quick-and-easy path showing merely apparent results.
