so ive this really nice little art studio that i opened in Blarney Cork Ireland in 2012.
It's for young budding artists of all ages.
ive a group on saturdays for age 4+ years , its Pay As You Stay with all materials included, you just reserve your place a day or two in advance. I also have groups for age 8-12 on tuesday, thursday , friday and saturdays, and groups for teens on tuesday and friday nights, all of these are 6 week terms.
YAA art studio is a cosy little place aimed for young people to enjoy their time drawing and painting their favourite pictures of cartoons, landscapes, animals, birds or abstract art. you don't have to be good at drawing to be good at painting ! Art is for everyone and in this day and age our children have enough pressure to perform in other activities inc school. So come and enjoy yourself and relax in a small group of no more than 12 /13 other artists. we have an extensive art library for reference, art materials for YAA members, good vibes and the odd demo to learn new techniques with acrylic paints. We have Summer Camps, Easter Camps, Open Studio during school breaks, and 6 week art terms for routine.
Most of all WE HAVE FUN.
I've 10 years experience in art groups for children and teens in schools, community centres and social centres. I've a diploma and in community based guidance and support with UCC and attended the Principles of Art Therapy in Crawford College of Art quiet recently. I hope you enjoy my posts on this page, its just a small sample of all the fantastic art that has been created by YAA members age 4 -19 years of age. please like our page and spread the word we are here.
