Mick’s mission is to re-connect children (and parents) with nature, explore with them and discover the mini miracles we all miss on a daily basis.
In the modern world live in a state of distraction, children’s minds are dragged away from the present moment and from what’s important in life by electronic gadgets. The dynamic of communication with self, others and nature is being lost through technology. Children are growing up in the virtual world instead of the real world.
Mick’s mindful exploration using the senses grounds children, it gets them ‘out of their heads’ and into the here and now. Learning how nature supports human life gives children a sense of interconnection. It will encourage them to play outdoors again have a sense of adventure in nature as children of previous generations had. 90% of education is encouragement and belief. You may be surprised at how much YOU and your children learn!
