Val's Mini Music

Music is an international language, using a completely different part of the brain than speech to process information! Val's Classes, aimed at newborn babies up to 5 year-olds, are designed first and foremost to be FUN! They also work on children's fine and gross motor skills, their ability to discern loud and soft, high and low, fast and slow and harmonies are also introduced. They also start to count, learn their colours, animals, shapes and much more!

Val has run her Mini Music classes on and off over the past 20 years (stopping for a while when her own Autistic son needed one-on-one support). She has studied Music Therapy, is a Flautist and Alto singer, and has worked musically with Down Syndrome, Autistic and Asperger children. Val's Mini Music CDs are a rich mixture of the songs sung in class, with added harmonies and flute etc. They are sung clearly and in easy keys so everyone can comfortably join in. There are also handy booklets at the front of each CD with all the words of the songs.
