Trad Nua is a born and bred, fully Independent Irish record Label. Our vision is as simple as our name.
The music we love comes from ‘Trad’ ,an Irish way of saying traditional- only punchier. It’s a style of Irish music that’s pure , rooted in tradition, one that has always held a unique place in world music.
The word ‘Nua ‘ is the Irish Language word for new: that is something we fully embrace.
At Trad Nua, our aim is to bring a fresh generation of musicians and their music to the fore.
We want to share their fresh sounds, explore new media formats while always respecting that the music at the centre has been gifted to us from the past.
