The Poetry Project started as a 6 month project but has now been extended due to phenomenal demand!

When we began the Poetry Project six months ago, our goal was to bring contemporary Irish poetry and video art to the world in an accessible and enjoyable way. And that’s what we did, with weekly uploads of video art and Irish poetry at thepoetryproject.ie

Artists and poets include: Nick Miller, Alice Maher, Aideen Barry, Nigel Rolfe, Diana Copperwhite, David Farrell, Thomas Kinsella, John F. Deane, Vona Groarke, Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill, Harry Clifton, Theo Dorgan and Aifric MacAodha.

The Poetry Project is absolutely free, and has been created to mark Ireland's Presidency of the EU.
