The Mill Cottage

An Muileann is a modern spacious cottage available for short term rental. The traditional cottage is furnished to the highest standard and boosts 3 Double rooms with queen sized beds,a large twin room and a sofa bed. The cottage can sleep up to 8 people comfortably.

Relax in the spacious lounge area which has a wooden fire stove with a beautifully designed handbuilt stone fireplace.

Admire the scenery from the dining room where one can enjoy a view of the river and spectacular views of the sunset.

We are situated on the west coast of Ireland, one of the most beautiful, unspoilt places you can find.

Only 5 min from Kilkieran village where you will find a supermarket, pub, restaurant & post office. Kids newly built playground is only a short walk away, Carna village a 10 min drive away which boosts a supermarket, pharmacy, post office, hotel, two pubs..

From the rugged Twelve Bens mountain range in the north through lake-rich Roundstone Bog to the nearby golden beaches reaching out into the Atlantic Ocean, you'll know you're in Connemara by the light that constantly changes the mood and tone of the landscape.
