The Idle Wall Restaurant sits at The Quay in Westport, Co. Mayo on the route of the Greenway on the Wild Atlantic Way. We specialise in local & seasonal Irish Food, Irish Cuisine & Irish Heritage Food, as well as classics. Seafood is our focus and we serve only fresh and wild fish. We have a sustainability policy in place and only take fish from smaller boats and Irish waters, and buy from local fishermen when possible. Our oysters are farmed in a sustainable way and if we use salmon it's Clare Island Organic Salmon.
