The Happy Landing

The Happy Landing, a bar in the historic Eglinton Village, was given its name due to its close proximity to the airfield where during WWII pilots would land in anticipation for their cold pint that awaited them! Today it is still only a few minutes from the City of Derry Airport and the only local bar in Eglinton.

The Happy Landing has remained true to its traditional roots by offering a quaint front bar complete with pool table and plenty of local craic! Behind this through a set of double doors lies a quirky, cosy little cocktail bar offering a range of homemade cocktails and our signature Prosecco in 11 ways as well as a range of 14 gins and much more!
