More about The Force Collectibles

The Force Collectibles was set up in early 2012 as the registered business name of sole trader Frederic Ulrichts.

Why do you do what you do?

I set up the company to service Ireland, the UK and Europe with the best Star Wars collectable items that the market has to offer at the moment in new items and pre-order. I don’t want to stop there and will also be offering items for sale that I source either from other collectors directly or from marketplace websites and auctioneer websites. If you are looking for something in particular I can help you look for that specific item, I can’t guarantee I’ll find it, but I will do my best! Just because it’s nice to be nice.

Who are the people behind the company?

The (very) short answer: Frederic Ulrichts.

Too short? Let me elaborate. I’m a lifelong Star Wars fan and also a collector of Star Wars items. In other words, I’m as passionate about the items I’m selling as you are buying them. And often I might even be jealous of your purchase. Running a collectibles business does not mean I get to have a big collection. Although I do dream of having a respectable collection one day, probably just like you.

What kind of people will I be working with/buying from?

Apart from what has been mentioned above I can tell you that my background (aka day job) is in service delivery and I hope to make a difference and stand out from the crowd by offering a service that you can only get from someone that runs his own business and is passionate about the product itself.

You’ll be buying of a person that has a love and passion for Star Wars and an active member of the local Garrison as a (ANH) Stormtrooper. I thoroughly enjoy trooping events (unfortunately not enough).

What does your company stand for?

The Force Collectibles stands for personalised customer service and care at a price that is not intended to get the biggest possible profit margin. Yes it is a business and without profits the business would not live long (even the power of the dark side can’t change that) but the profit is intended to help the business grow and deliver a continuously improving service and product range at prices that are affordable. It’s my commitment to donate 10% of the pure profit (after tax) to an Irish charity for children every annum.

What does your company stand against?

Bad customer service. Profiteering.
