The College Tribune is a student newspaper based in University College Dublin's Belfield campus. Established in 1989 by one of Ireland's best known journalists, Vincent Browne, it is UCD's oldest surviving newspaper with over 25 years of continuous publication. Currently in its 30th volume.
The College Tribune offers news, sport, features, insight and analysis as well as music, film, literature, health, fashion in 'The Trib', our arts and culture supplement.
In contrast to the majority of student newspapers, The College Tribune operates independently of college authorities and the students' union, supporting itself through advertising revenue.
It is one of the four media outlets in UCD, the others being The University Observer, Belfield FM and UCDTV.
