Taste of France is a new French delicatessen shop, located in Cross St Lower, 30 metres from Shop Street in the heart of Galway City.

Owned & Run by Thierry and Catherine Schreiber, natives of France, This store offers a wide range of products produced by well known French Suppliers from all over France known for their made - in - france tradition from areas such as Provence, Drome & Basque country.

The product range on offer includes Olive Oil, tapenade, pate, seafood specialities, tea, honey, jam & chocolate.

Also in stock is typical linen from Saint Jean de Luz like Handbags, Travel Bags, Towels, Aprons, Tablecloths, to mention a few. So colourful and very high quality. A nice idea if you have a gift to send by post, light, not fragile and very easy to pack.


The Natural cosmetics collection on offer is very good for sensitive skin, and offers a large range of products for the face and body. All the cosmetics are with olive oil only, and no paraben and no palm oil

Taste of France, all the products have been carefully selected in France, first tasted by owners Thierry and Catherine, and thus showcase some of the best quality produce France can offer. Been very aware that what is good for the earth is good for humans, the selected products are natural and organic, So as far as is possible.

In preparation for Christmas, Taste of France have a large choice of hampers starting from €20 on offer. You can choose one made ready, or select your favourite products in the shop and we will custom make it to your requirements.
