Source healing Ireland was founded by husband and wife Anthony & Collette Whelan. Anthony and Collette both set off on different journeys in their work careers some years back as they both wanted to work at what they were passionate about and wanted to educate and develop themselves in these areas.
Collette with her passions and memories of the stories of her grandmother telling how nature provided herbs that could heal and of all the old remedies provided by the land. She went off and studied nutrition, Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture and done extensive research on natural remedies lost to us through time and busy lifestyles, these natural remedies now replaced by multi-million dollar pharmaceuticals companies. She is passionate about this topic and believes that many ailments can be cured by natural remedies and nutrition as we don’t always need to pop a pill or put toxic chemicals into our bodies.
She believes the body’s natural state is healthy and it is always striving to get back to this state, the problem is us working against our bodies by feeding it toxins in the form of processed foods and environmental poisons. Many of our illness today can be totally avoided by living healthy lives and eating healthier, she is passionate to teach this to others.
Anthony on the other hand had a spiritual awaking in 2008 when his mother passed and spoke to him while she was still laid-out; this set him off on his journey as a physical medium working with the angels. Being very sensitive to seeing and feeling energy he naturally progressed onto spiritual healing learning many different types of healing inducing Reiki, Bio-energy and his own technique Source Healing with the Angels. At this point their journeys crossed with them both realising that it is not enough to share this knowledge on its own as people are so bombarded with negative news and problems in their daily lives and it is often hard to feel positive at the best of times.
Realising that some people need help with making “feeling positive” a habit rather than just a thought they progressed on to becoming Life Coaches and Cognitive Behavioural Therapists in the hope of helping people change their thought patterns to more motivated, balanced and positive ones. Their understanding is that if you can help someone in this aspect, the person can make other positive changes themselves. Their journeys crossed again when some of Collettes clients would ask for healing with Anthony. Realising they had both a lot to offer when they came together they came up with the idea of working with each other and so Source Healing Ireland was born. They both now travel doing workshops and educating people as to what is possible when we discover what is natural and free to us from the source. They also do private consultations and healings from their home in Portarlington, Co Laois and they both continue on their own development and educations!
