Pilates exercises improve core strength and balance the muscles around the joints, improving the way your body functions, looks, and feels. Through strengthening your core, Pilates assists in improving your posture, reducing back pain, recovering from and preventing injury, and improving participation in sports.
Physio Pilates classes are run by a Chartered Physiotherapist and STOTT Certified Pilates Instructor. The benefit of attending a Physio-led Pilates class is that individual injuries can be monitored and addressed. This is facilitated through small class sizes and hands-on assistance in combination with the ability to adapt the exercises to suit the individual's needs.
