Our Story

With a passion for fresh, homemade delicious food in unique and beautiful locations, Peacockgreen was created. Our very first Peacockgreen is tucked away in one of Dublin’s Georgian Houses on Leeson Street. The second Peacockgreen to join the family is located only a stone throw away from the historical Christchurch Cathedral on Lord Edward Street. Our third & largest addition is housed in one of the old Train Vaults of Harcourt street. The newest addition to our growing family is the atmospheric Merrion Road branch which is based in a gorgeous two storey Victorian House. These wonderful locations, with their extremely stylish interiors, will sweep you away to another time & place that somehow still feels incredibly familiar.

We pride ourselves on the atmosphere we create and we are sure that you will feel right at home in our comfy setting. We believe that everybody deserves a great tasting meal prepared fresh everyday, created from only the finest ingredients at an affordable price - and we think that you would agree.

Our Passion for food

Everyone deserves a deliciously satisfying meal. Whether you want to start your day off right with a nutritious healthy breakfast, fill up for lunch to get you through the rest of the day, or just catch up with a friend for Afternoon Tea with a sweet treat - we have it all. All of our food is prepared daily from only the freshest ingredients. All our recipes have been tried and tested by our loyal customers. We keep the ones that you, the customer, love the most, but we also like to tweak with old recipes to keep it new and exciting. Coffee

Here at Peacockgreen we put great efforts into our coffee preparation. We aim to serve only the best tasting cup from the 1st sip to the last drop. Our coffee beans are specially chosen ourselves and hand-roasted to order. We have our own unique House Blend which originates from Brazil, Papua New Guinea and Guatemala. This gorgeous blend of ours will hit your palette with notes of milk chocolate and a hint of blackcurrant.

Each month, we also feature a new exciting Guest Bean. We love to impress you coffee aficionados out there by expanding your coffee experience with single-origin beans from all corners of the globe…

Teas

We make a point to serve only the best teas, sourced from around the world. With our unrivaled selection of over 40 different specialty teas to choose from, we have a tea to suit any occasion. Weather you are looking to detoxify your body, aid digestion, to relax & calm yourself, or just to enjoy a nice cuppa – we've got just the tea for you.

All of our teas & their ingredients have been carefully sourced from all over the world. Real fruit pieces, flower petals and liquorice root are just some of the ingredients that contribute to our intense aroma & flavour. You can enjoy any of our teas in store or you can purchase them to be taken to the comfort of your own home. All of our stores are also equipped to sell everything you need to brew your own top quality tea at home.
