@NUTrition_irl and #Cleantella is the brainchild of Aaron Smyth and Leanne Hickey but it didn't come about by us trying to break into the health foods market or even remotely close. It came from us being like 99% of people out there loving chocolate. The concept and product came about after we were looking for a healthy, clean cheat that curved our sweet tooth, without compromising our diet.

I (Aaron) a personal trainer and fitness/physique competitor have always had the biggest sweet tooth influence coming from my mum being an awesome dessert chef/cook and as of late have always been conscious of diet and trying to stay as clean eating as possible and also trying not to binge eat after competition dieting. Leanne, a recent convert to training, healthy eating and a more clean lifestyle, struggled with weight loss her whole life, sticking to nutrition plans and always caving into junk food due to there being no other alternative. Our weakness? Chocolate!

After trying out many different paleo treats and recipes, it was only after we started to make our own nut butters that we experimented with a clean Nutella, a few tweaks here and there... the end result? #Cleantella

Having tried various recipes the pair came up with todays product! Of course with some added casein protein-and sure who doesn't need that!

The initial success and popularity has shown that people like us are changing the way they think and see food. The more options out there for us all to 'cheat clean' means the easier it is to lead a heathy lifestyle without compromise.

#Cleantella is just the start of a new and exciting product line! Keep your eye out for new products in the pipeline... Our cravings don't just end with chocolate....
