Newbridge School of Speech and Drama

The Newbridge School of Speech and Drama was established by Róisín McGrath (LIBSD) in September 2014. It offers Speech and Drama classes for Children aged between 4 and 12 years.

Speech & Drama helps students acquire confidence and effective communication skills, enabling them to develop and present their own ideas in fun and creative ways. It gives students the freedom to explore their imaginations.

Through Improvisation and Characterisation - students explore and develop their imagination, communication and problem solving skills. Building confidence, trust and the ability to work effectively in a group.

Voice Work/Public Speaking - working on good pronunciation, effective breathing, posture, projection, clarity and distinct speech in communication.
