Magnificent Spiegeltent to transform Kennedy Place

A Spiegeltent made in Belgium in 1925 promises to transform Navan town when it arrives in the centre of Navan Town Centre.

The Navan Spiegeltent Festival, will feature over 20 shows, including music by some of Irelands’ top acts, as well as screenings of vintage films, comedy, dance, theatre, kids entertainment and fashion events designed to entertain local & national visitors to Navan.

Each night of the Navan Spiegeltent Festival will feature two main events, one at 7 pm and the other at 10 pm, the earlier show intended to facilitate audiences from outside the Navan area. Rebecca Storm, Jack L, The Celtic Tenors, Jerry Fish, Declan O Rourke and a host of other acts have been confirmed for the first ever Navan Spiegeltent Festival.

The film programme will include the classic first silent Dracula movie Nosferatu which will be accompanied by the score played on piano.

Spiegeltents have been used as venues in numerous places around the globe, including Melbourne, Adelaide, Dublin, Brisbane, Belfast, Montreal, Cork, Edinburgh, Toronto and at Caesar’s Palace in Nevada, but this is the first time one will visit Navan.
