National Sports College

The National Sports College offers professional coaching, training and educational services to individuals, groups, teams and educational institutions across Ireland. Strategically located in Athy, Co. Kildare, NSC is easily accessed by the national road network - only forty minutes from Dublin City, one hour from Limerick, less than two hours from Cork City and only a 20 minute drive from Portlaoise, Carlow, Kilkenny or Newbridge. Also accessable by rail and bus. NSC opened its flagship sports centre in the summer of 2014 - and is onne of the largest coaching and training centres in the country.

This new state of the art 7,500 sq.ft. coaching and training facility includes a 3,000 sq. ft. fitness studio, a 2,000 sq. ft. high performance gym, a 1,000 sq. ft. lecture room, sport science lab, changing rooms, showers, and parking for 20 vehicles.

The National Sports College offers a wide range of nationally and internationally accredited courses in health fitness and bodywork therapies. Courses include Fitness Instruction, Gym Instruction, Personal Training, Strength & Conditioning, Sport Science, Kettlebell Training, Pilates, Exercise to Music, Sports Massage, Injury Management, Sport Physical Therapy, Cryotherapy, Thermotherapy, Taping & Strapping and Business Start Up.
