Mulch

Mulch is Dublin's first indoor drive through garden waste recycling facility recently opened in Coolock. Mulch is open to all vehicle types and trailers, to both domestic and commercial landscapers and there is no need to bag your waste in advance, just bring it up. If you are unable to get it to us give the Mulch team a call and they will arrange a pick up at a nominal cost. Also if you need a trailer Mulch hire out a 7'3" x 4' trailer with mesh sides also at a nominal cost to make it easier to get your garden waste to us.
Mulch sends the garden waste for processing into compost, soil enricher, top soil and bark: fine & large size. These products are then available to buy from our depot in small easy to handle bags, 1 cubic metre sacks and loose to anybody who has a truck or trailer to take it away in. All the products sold are 100% peat free, manufactured in Ireland, and all waste operations, products and services are provided by irish companies.

The idea behind Mulch is to replace St Annes Park garden waste depot that closed down a few years ago. It has taken mulch 2 years to identify a suitable site, obtain planning permission, waste licences and open their doors. Mulch is one of the few licensed waste facilities in Dublin and the only one under cover.

Mulch garden waste rates are cheaper than Dublin City Council's if you use our loyalty card scheme. Cars start at €8 and trailers from €25 excluding discounts. Trailer hire is €16 for a half day and collection fee start at €30 for local area plus waste charge of €16 per 1 cubic metre bag. Mulch also take credit and debit cards.

We are located just off the Malahide Road opposite UCI Cinemas in the Malahide Road Industrial Park. The opening hours are always changing with the longer days to check the website for updates. At the moment they are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 14:00 on Saturday and we don't close for lunch. Check www.mulch.ie for further details.
