Hi. Patrick Meegan here. Welcome to my brand new Meegan Advertising Facebook page!
I'm a writer/composer/producer. My career has spanned several decades, continents and creative disciplines, including working as theatre composer in New York, TV producer in Dubai and copywriter in London. I've also written film music for movie director Neil Jordan.
But mostly I've worked as a jingle composer and copywriter in my native Ireland. Over the years I've written literally hundreds of jingles for many of the biggest national and international brands in this country, including McDonalds, Mars, Carlsberg, Vodafone, Kit Kat, Aer Lingus, not to mention two of the best known jingles of all time in Irish advertising - Gotta Getta Gateaux and Homestead.
In recent years I mostly work directly with SMEs as a creative consultant, writing, composing and producing their campaigns. There's a strong emphasis on radio advertising, but I'm experienced in all media. I have my own recording studio and a long-established group of musicians, singers and voice-over artists I can call on as the need arises. My rates are flexible and I love new challenges.
