Laois Physiotherapy Clinic provides a high standard of care for all types of physical injury/pain. The emphasis of treatment is normalising joint movement and muscle tone progressing onto functional strength training to regain optimal physical function with minimal pain effect.
I myself have a background education history of a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science from University of Limerick with a 2.1 Honours degree achieved. I progressed to the University of Ulster at Jordanstown where I obtained an MSc in Physiotherapy.
Treatments comprise of a comprehensive interview on the main issues in relation to your problem, a comprehensive physical examination and holistic treatment process. The treatment process itself generally involves some manual therapy, occasionally some taping techniques, postrual advice, home exercise programmes (where suitable), rehabilitation programmes and advice on general life factors (e.g. work related injuries, repetitive stress scenarios, stress related effects etc) which may affect the issue you present with.
Sessions in general last from 30-45minutes and can be longer if requested but may incurr an additional charge.
