JW Productions is one of the Ireland’s top up and coming drama schools, founded in 2014, with tutors who have a long-standing and international reputation for providing the highest quality training to actors, musical theatre performers, aspiring directors and even give experience in the technical side of theatre. We offer intensive, practical training with all students receiving as much training as they need per week with a personalised class for each individual. Classes are small and students receive regular one-to-one sessions with tutors.
We also have group classes for children aged 8+ in various parishes around Tipperary, where we encourage children to have fun and bring out their true selves with the aims of doing a showcase at the end of each year. Our Professional Courses are structured to give students a thorough grounding in all aspects of their chosen field. Students are trained to develop a high level of skills which will bring thought, energy and commitment to their professional work, giving them the tools to succeed if they choose to, in a competitive industry. Students work not only with JW’s staff but also get placed with current directors, set designers, lighting and sound designers, choreographers, musical directors, actors and stage managers and we provide many workshops with industry professionals from Broadway and the west end. As well as keeping students in touch with current professional practice, this provides valuable contacts on completion of the course. . JW also on request will provide training in the specialised requirements of TV, film and radio. JW has two different opportunities: we offer professional training which requires dedication and talent, but the rewards are great as we will help you prepare for college. We also provide a service where everyone can have fun in our company in a more relaxed learning atmosphere with fun concerts and musicals for all to be involved in!!!
