Joseph Bennett & Sons have been fitting & repairing cranes since the 1970’s , in 2009 we were appointed sole agents for PM cranes in Ireland. PM cranes are one of the world’s leading crane manufacturer and sells to every continent on the world.
Our purpose built facility is centrally located in the town of Stradbally , Co. Laois just minutes from both the M7 & M9 motorways. Here we have both the experience and the equipment to supply & fit the full range of PM truck mounted cranes from the handy Pm1.5 to the gigantic PM210SP.
In 2015 we became the sole Irish agent for VDL skip loaders & hook loaders. We can now supply & fit the full range of these world class lifts to a chassis of your choice.
We also build all types of truck bodies – Block Bodies, Flat beds, beavertails, cheese wedges, demountables, tippers, dropsides etc. In late 2014 we were approved by the NSAI as an Approved Vehicle Body Builder ( AVBB ) All new vehicles that now leave our premises now meet the stringent NSAI type approval standards & come with an IVA certificate
Along with these services we carry out repairs & testing of all makes of cranes e.g. Atlas, Cormach, Fassi, HIAB, Palfinger and of course PM.
We can also modify your new or existing chassis or refurbish your existing crane/body and refit to a new chassis.
