As part of Kildare's Creative Ireland programme 2017, we are inviting expressions of interest from artists across all art forms who are open to participating in a project entitled” Illuminating Heritage" - the walls of Athy through the Artist Eye.

" Illuminating Heritage" is organised by Athy Community Arts Centre, Athy Heritage Centre Museum, The South Kildare Medieval Project supported by Kildare County Council’s Heritage Officer and Arts Officer.

This project brings together artists, historians and archaeologists in order to generate authentic, accurate and innovative avenues of interpretation to Athy's Medieval history.
