Hutchinson Brothers - Fish out of Water.

I can drive my sheep over London Bridge, be hung by a silk cord and be assisted into a taxi by the City of London Police to transport me home if I'm found drunk and incapable; thus are some of my privileges for being granted the freedom of the City of London. On the other hand, my brother takes pride from designing the first generation of the current police riot shields that have been used by the City of London Police and many other police services across the globe. He hasn't had to be rescued by helicopter from a North Sea oil rig but then, I haven't had to dress up as a Yemeni tribesman and sit in the back of an old pick-up truck just to get a ride from Aden to Sana'a. We have both sat and laughed our way through Laurel and Hardy films with the late J. Paul Getty senior and we have even eaten all of his sandwiches and been terrified by his pack of guard dogs. We have safely travelled many thousands of miles by air and yet have still voluntarily jumped out of a few aeroplanes to try and get our feet on the ground. Being fish out of water has been less than voluntary though: we have saved each other from a blazing river of floating petrol, been chased from the Atlantic waters by malevolent fish (so close was his escape that my brother was bitten on the nipple) and fought an octopus to submission below the Portuguese waves. On average, we have lived in a different house every two years and our travels and work have taken us throughout Europe, the USA, the Middle East, Far East, Africa and Indian sub-continent. We have over sixty combined years in small, medium and corporate businesses some of which we have established and run ourselves and we have over one hundred combined years of humour, irony, satire and the extraordinary that has forged our partnership as communicators, negotiators and inter-cultural coaches.
