Garda Aptitude Test & Interview Preparation

Garda Interview Preparation is a training provider for the Garda Recruitment Campaigns. The founder is former Garda Sergeant David Gavin. David served for over thirty years as a member of An Garda Siochana, retiring in October 2012.

Over his career, David accumulated a wealth of experience in legal, policing and training matters. He is the holder of a BA (Training and Education) from NUI Galway and has 17 years experience in the training area within An Garda Siochana. He served as a Garda Trainer in the Garda Siochana College and as Training Manager for Waterford Garda Division until his retirement. A significant part of his job involved assessing the progress of Student and Probationer Gardaí through competency based interviews.

David has an intimate knowledge and understanding of the Garda Training System, and the attributes Garda authorities are looking for in prospective candidates. Over the years David has helped many applicants for the Garda Siochana and the Garda Reserve achieve their dream by providing them with guidance and assistance in the completion of the application form and preparing for the Interview.
