Sinéad Crossan from Derry has 15 years experience of teaching Performing Arts within a secondary school and as Head of Drama in Merseyside. After returning to home to Derry Sinéad is now a full time teacher at Foyle View School. Sinead has opened a performing arts school with the aim of enhancing confidence in young people, developing their performance skills and preparing them for auditions. Work created will be showcased for parents and family friends. Based at the gasyard Sinéad will work with fresher members to introduce them to the skills of the actor and examine the world of musical theatre weekly. Feis work will not feature in this Academy as the focus is on developing skills that will enhance their confidence and knowledge of the world of theatre and film performance.
