The I.T. Tralee Health and Leisure Department are proud to announce their 7th annual Fitness Convention, being held on Friday February 13th 2015. It is a non-profit event.

An eclectic range of speakers, ready to share the latest research and ideas includes; Gerry Hussey, a Sports Psychologist who has worked with our Olympic Boxers and Munster Rugby to name but a few. Dara Sheridan from the Irish Institute of Sport will speak about the challenges and supports in place for retired athletes. The elements of a successful Corporate Wellbeing programme will be presented by Apple's Alva Neary. Two practical workshops from Pat Divilly (partner exercise) and Steve Barrett (High Intensity Interval Training) are sure to blow away any cobwebs! It is also our great pleasure to welcome the captain of the 2015 Senior All-Ireland winning Football Team, Fionn Fitzgerald, who will take us through the training demands of inter-county GAA players.

One of Irish Athletics most prolific performers, Niamh O' Sullivan, will examine and discuss common injuries associated with running, their causes and cures. To top it all off, we also welcome Avenir Sports, who will showcase some of the latest technological advancements in the Sport, Health and Fitness industry. Something for everyone!
