Fit Mind Healthy Body Galway is a Counselling/Psychotherapy & Wellness business run by married couple Ken & Malvina Barrett. Offering clients a wide selection of wellness services with a view to easing emotional pain and suffering, increasing self-awareness, promoting self-acceptance and overall health and wellbeing.

Ken is a Psychotherapist accredited with IAHIP (IAHIP is the professional body in Ireland for humanistic and integrative psychotherapy. Humanistic and integrative psychotherapy has its roots in humanistic philosophy, which emphasises human dignity and the human capacity for fulfilment. It aims to work with a full range of influences to encourage the development of the individual and her/his relationship to others and to society). and Yoga Therapist. Ken incorporates Yoga Therapy techniques to some of his group classes to aid in the safe release of trapped emotions and trauma.

Malvina is a certified Pilates Instructor offering group and private mat Pilates classes, Foundation/Chair Pilates (for those suffering chronic pain, arthritis and/or those with little or no experience of exercise) & Pre (Ante-Natal) & Post-Natal Pilates classes.

Ken offers a safe, confidential and non-judgemental therapeutic setting for Counselling and Psychotherapy appointments which are held at Ross House, Merchants Road, Galway City. Group classes are held in Terryland House, Headford Road, Galway City and Force Fitness, Loughrea, Co. Galway.
