Evolve Play Therapy Service
Therapist : Una Kennedy-White BA(Hons), PG Dip
Play Therapy is a form of creative counselling for working with children. Many children may not have the words to express, discuss and understand their feelings. Play Therapy provides a safe space where a child can express themselves using their natural form of communication – play.
As a trained therapist non-directive play techniques will be used to help children process their difficulties. Activities in the playroom may include Arts & Crafts, Sandtray, Therapeutic Stories, Dolls house / Home corner, Muscial Instruments, Puppets and Clay.
Play Therapy sessions are 45mins and interventions can be short term (6 to 12 sessions), medium (12 to 24 sessions) or long term (24+ sessions)
