Donaghmore Connemara Ponies

We bought our first Connemara in October 2011 at Cavan sales. Her name is Miss Rose. We decided over the next year to research the performance Connemara. We acquired mares with performance pedigree!

Our emphasis is on the female line. It's all about the mare and finding the appropriate stallion.
A good maternal line is absolutely essential. If the mare has not competed then her direct siblings should have performed.
On the performance side our mares include:
Clooneenagh Lass. Dam of Cul Ban Mistress - (Performance pony of the year 2015) Unequalled achievements at Fontainbleau in 2015. A top class 1.30 pony.
Clooneen Lickeen Lass - Aunt of Cul Ban Mistress covered to Silver Shadow.
Doovins Silver Smoke - Materinal 1/2 sister to Blackwoodland Rock.
Pinegrove Susy - Materinal 1/2 sister to Westside Padraig.
