CrossFit is an elite fitness program for everyone. Our classes and private coaching are based on the CrossFit Program developed by coach Greg Glassman.
What is CrossFit
CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program that is designed to elicit as broad an adaptational physical response as possible. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but rather it focuses on competency in each of the ten recognized fitness domains; cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. Our athletes are trained to successfully perform multiple, diverse and randomized physical challenges.
CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.
Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing.
Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.
The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our defence forces, rugby players, surfers and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.
Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed our workouts posted daily on this site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes.

Our constantly varied workouts are geared towards developing the 10 commonly accepted parameters of fitness within each of our participants
Strength – The ability to produce and apply force, regardless of time
Endurance – The ability of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems of the body to effectively transport oxygen to muscles within the body
Stamina – The ability of the muscles in the body to withstand sustained efforts without fatiguing
Flexibility – The ability of each joint in the body to move through it’s full, healthy range of motion without restriction
Speed – The ability to move from point A to point B in the shortest time possible
Power – The ability to do the highest amount of work in the least amount of time
Balance - The ability to NOT fall. Sounds simple – This isn’t always the case
Accuracy – The ability to replicate movement in a way that allows for effective placement of self or external objects
Agility – The ability to change direction quickly
Coordination – The ability to merge multiple movement patterns together in order to complete a task
CrossFit LK gives instruction on the functional movements to every participant on every visit to the gym. The staff of CrossFit LK are highly trained in all of the functional movements used in CrossFit. This instruction is critical to safe and effective exercise programs. We are confident in our ability to increase your fitness levels far beyond your current capacity.
