Croagh School of Music

The Croagh School of Music offers a coordinated programme of study and performance that few can match outside the larger centres of population. We welcome students of all ages and levels of ability. For the creative young musician, or for the adventurous music lover, the Croagh School of Music provides a unique and exciting atmosphere. The Croagh School of Music aims to promote excellence in the study and performance of music and many students have gone on to further musical studies in third level. All genres all represented in the school such as classical, traditional, popular, rock and jazz with exams with all relevant boards available for those who wish to grade themselves as far as diploma level. The exam boards that we currently engage with are The Royal Irish Academy of Music, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, Associated Board, London College of Music, and the Registry of Guitar Tutors in which we have a very proud results record.

In addition to the music boards we also provide courses in music theory, and Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate for secondary students who wish to take on music as an extra subject, or due to lack of availability within their own school and we are very proud of our results record over the years.
