Cooper Handcrafted Furniture

Coming from a tradition of woodworkers going back to my great grandfather who was a Cooper (i.e name for crafter of wooden barrels), woodworking is in my genes. Growing up beside the family sawmill, under the teachings of my father, himself a skilled craftsman, I have known wood and craft from an early age. With a keen interest in furniture design and a desire to keep the tradition of Irish woodcraft alive, in 2015 Cooper Handcrafted Furniture was born, pushing the Cooper family woodworking tradition in a new contemporary direction. From my workshop in Co. Monaghan I design and handcraft contemporary furnishings that are unique, attractive, built to last and sealed with the maker’s mark of quality.
