In 1950 Roger Cooney started his own painting and decorating business. Over the years, Cooney Painting and Decorating established themselves as one of the south of Irelands most respected decorating companies, with our core values of Quality workmanship, carried out quickly & efficiently and at a reasonable cost to the client remaining as true today as in the beginning. In 1997 Mark Dilloughery took over his father-in-law's business and quickly learned that quality workmanship, fair and upfront pricing, flexibility, and dedication to each project, were the qualities that kept the business running successfully since 1950.
Mark later expanded into the area of property repair and maintenance and now carries out both large and small projects on behalf of insurance companies, homeowners and landlords and receivers.
Mark is the current National President of Master Painter and Decorators of Ireland (MPDI). Mark is also a member of Construction Industry Federation (CIF) and the Cork Branch Executive and also serves on the board of CIF National Executive thus ensuring the business keeps up to date with the latest developments in their area.
