Carauntoohil Eco Farm - The Soul of the Mountain. It is a family run organic farm/smallholding , Carrauntoohil Eco Farm is a run by Vikki. We are passionate about organic farming, growing your own food and sustainable living, this ethos is echoed through everything we do here at the farm, we believe in working with nature in a sustainable way and working with the land. Facilites include compost toilets, showers, communal fire pit, you're own BBQ area and picnic bench. There are so many things to do in the area - in particular hill walking, we can arrange a personal guide for you to take you up Carrauntoohill or any of the surrounding mountains anywhere on the Reeks, we are only 30 mins from the nearest beach and of course dingle isn't too far away, we can organise surfing, bicycle hire and many many more fun activities.
We are based at the foothills of Carrauntoohil - Ireland's highest mountain, it is literally on our doorstep, with panoramic views of the Macgillycuddy Reeks and the surrounding counrtyside, Carauntoohil Eco Farm is set on 10 acres of stunningly beautiful land. We are located approx. 20 minutes from Killarney and 15 minutes from Killorglin.
We have a number of animals here, some of which were rescues, and they seem to have found us -we have alpaca's, goats, donkeys, minature horse, chickens, cats and dogs.
