With the rise of the Solar PV industry in South Africa and Africa in general, there has been the emergence of many participants. While the industry welcomes a greater number of companies, this must be measured against their capacity to execute works in a manner that sustains the industry and does not damage its or the technology’s reputation.

Therefore, Caracal Energy was started with the primary objective of offering professional services to the Solar PV Industry in South Africa focusing on ground mount and Solar Carport installations. This segment of the value chain, considering smaller projects, has been neglected and therefore warrants further participation.

The management of Caracal Energy has been responsible for the mechanical execution of 350MWp in South Africa. The intention now is to leverage this experience and offer services, with the same degree of professionalism, to project developers and EPC’s on smaller systems ranging from 100kWp- 5MWp.
