The Beara Peninsula is a peninsula on the south-west coast of Ireland, bounded by Kenmare bay to the north side and Bantry Bay to the south. There are two mountain ranges running through the Beara Peninsula, the Caha Mountains and the Slieve Miskish Mountains.

Bunks Hostel is located in the centre of the peninsula in the beautiful village of Adrigole. There are an abundance of tourist attractions in the area, all easily accessible from Bunks by car, bus or bike.

The Healy Pass is one of Irelands most spectacular roads. Situated in Adrigole, this serpentine route snakes along the centre of two of the Caha Mountains highest points in a series of hairpin turns, joining the two counties of Cork and Kerry. The ruins of Dunboy Castle & the Puxley Mansion in Castletownbere, the Copper Mines Museum in Allihies, Garnish Island in Glengarriff, Dursey Island cable car are just a few of our peninsula's must see attractions.

Bunks Hostel is available for rent from February to December for groups of up to 20 people. You will have sole use of the hostel and its facilities for the duration of your stay. Bunks Hostel provides free safe secure parking, linen and a welcome hamper to all our groups.
