Brittas Montessori

We are a family run business, established in Brittas Co. Dublin since September 2005. We provide FREE ECCE places for all children over 3 years 2 months, and less than 4 years 7 months on the 1st September of the year that they will be starting. We also provide places for children from the age of 2 years 6 months, who are fully toilet trained. the fees for these places are based on the number of days the child attends.

We have over 19 years experience in teaching and caring for children, and are very experienced and highly qualified in all areas of Early Childhood Care and Education. We follow Aistear, the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework, and Siolta, the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education.

Our Montessori class runs in the mornings, with the main aim of encouraging each individual child to have confidence, and be independent learners in preparation for their transition to 'big school'. Each child's progress is documented, and parents as the primary educators of their children, are consulted on a regular basis.

We have a wonderful outdoor play area in a beautiful country setting. Outdoor play is important to all areas of child development, and weather permitting, we will get outside as much as possible after class finishes.
