My dad always had an interest in photography, he'd be down on the beach with a camera and tripod getting great sunset shots back in the 80s when we lived in a place called Fahan. Years later he gave me a Sony Cybershot when my dog died and the pictures I took with it (at the same time others were already using massive DSLRs) got me asked to do some wee shoots.
Enter my Nikon D5000. I hated it with a passion for about two years because I could. not. use it. I regressed to a Coolpix after many frustrations and lost shots, and it's still my favourite one to carry. It wasn't until I realised how perfectly placed I was for Northern Lights shots that I dusted off the Big Guy and took it out again...to learn, finally, how to work the darn thing.
Every day I walk my dog 4 miles along the Irish coast, so inevitably you will see nature shots, sunrise and sunset, the moon, the water... Sometimes I go to gigs so you might see some music shots. The odd time, I get asked to do a shoot, music, faces, make up, SFX, ads, pets...
Hope you like them.
