An Saol will afford every opportunity to people with severe ABI to live their life with dignity and respect, to continue to improve, to regain as much independence and self-determination as possible, and for their injuries to heal, supported by adequate therapies.
An Saol
- Provides information to families of persons with a severe acquired brain injury;
- Organises educational events for families and health care professionals;
- Assists with the organisation of home care and therapies;
- To provide a caring, homely, lively, colourful place of residence full of light and life to people who have suffered severe brain injury and who no longer have acute medical needs;
- To provide therapy for severely brain injured people, including phyiso therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, music therapy, psychological guidance etc.;
- To encourage and support the involvement of families, friends, and the community with these young people.
