Alex has five years’ experience in working with sound & video productions Event Management and Computer Programming.
Alex Mac Uaid is a Fourth year computing student in the Institute of Technology Tallaght.
He has a passionate interest in Computing, event managing, Video Production and sound engineering.
He has gained a lot of experience and skills over the years working in Áras Chrónáin Irish Cultural Center in Clondalkin where he started out as a stagehand and progressed onto sound technician, lighting and organising, managing and producing a music festival for young bands in the Clondalkin area, Music Video Production and Recording Studio Production.

More recently he has worked on Albums, a movie soundtrack and Music videos.

He has also worked with West Dublin Access Radio 96fm training in all aspects of digital media production. From this learning, he managed and produced a weekly radio show every Saturday and Tuesday on WDAR and more recently he now manages and produces a radio show on Raidió Na Life 106.4FM Which airs Every Saturday, Sunday, and Thursday.
Alex has worked on radio shows for RTÉ Raidió Na Gaelteacht also he has made Stingers(Advertisements) for Spin 103.8 FM.
Alex Mac Uaid has worked on a number of group projects in college and learned valuable lessons from them.

Alex also founded the ITTD Cumann Gaelach. which in its first year won the B.I.C.S Best New Society Award 2016 and Best New Society in the Institute of Technology Tallaght.
Alex is currently the Cathaoirleach (Chairperson) of the society.
Alex was awarded the Arts and Cultural Scholarship (2016) award for his work on promoting the Irish Language (An Gaeilge) in the Institute of Technology Tallaght.
