The Achill Field School is a training school for undergraduate and graduate students of archaeology and anthropology. Founded in 1991, the Field School offers one and two weeks Introductory courses, a new 6-days Investigating Archaeological Landscapes course, Modular courses of 2, 4 and 6 weeks, and a Trainee Supervisor Course of 8 weeks duration. All modular courses qualify for academic credit through the National University of Ireland at Galway.
