Discoveryland Crèche, Montessori and Afterschool

Discoveryland is a Crèche, Montessori and Afterschool service based at 14 Newlands, Wexford.

We are just off the Wexford/Newtown Road, adjacent to Wexford General Hospital, Wexford County Council and the environmental offices.

We are only minutes away from primary schools such as Scoil Mhuire, Kennedy Park, Mercy etc.

Discoveryland was founded by Ailish Lee in 2003 and moved to Newlands in 2007 to a bigger premises.

There are currently ten full-time staff members, who are key players in the success of Discoveryland. All of our staff hold at least a Level 6 qualification. Julie and Shelley have a BA in Early Childhood Studies, and Michelle and Jamielee are currently studying for their BA Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education. Our HR manager Angus Lee is in the final year of his Masters in Education.

Disoveryland focuses on the holistic development of every child. We aim to ensure that all our children leave our care as well rounded and sociable individuals.

We recognise that every child is individual and encourage individualism at every opportunity. Ultimately we here in Discoveryland seek for pursuit of excellence in every aspect of every individual child.
