Quealy's Bar

Quealy’s Bar is a traditional family run Dungarvan pub with a modern twist located just off the square in Dungarvan. The front bar is as traditional a cozy Irish pub as you get, complete with snug and roaring fireplace. Meanwhile our elegant cocktail lounge caters for those that are seeking a more modern vibe. Upstairs, our function room is available to cater for a host of events and parties.

Quealy’s Bar has been owned and operated by the Quealy family in Dungarvan for over 175 years, making it the oldest family run pub in the town, if not in Waterford. Our passion is horse racing, showing practically every race available live. If it’s on the box, it’s on in Quealy’s Bar. With Boyle Sports just a few doors down it’s the ideal place to enjoy yourself as your horse crosses the winning line.

Our cocktail bar has a wide range of cocktails available while our upstairs function room, complete with its own bar, is the perfect venue for your special occasion. We are happy to host birthdays, office parties, communions, confirmations, funerals/ wakes, or even if you are looking for a venue to host your yoga, Pilates or other course. We can also cater your event for you, just be sure to let us know what your food requirements are.

Quealy’s Bar is located just off the square at 82 O’Connell Street, Dungarvan – between Subway & Dealz and just across the road from New Look. Quealy’s welcome all groups and parties and are a family friendly pub.
