Pooka Dubh
The Art of Loki & Splink.

Loki aka Laura Burke (BA Hons Fine Art Painting NCAD)
and Splink aka Aidan Murray (NDip Graphic Design)
are an illustration duo currently living and working in the west of Ireland with their little giant black dog Molly, whom they based the name Pooka Dubh in honour of.

Pooka (poo-kah) in Irish mythology, a small ghost, sprite or phantom fairy creature able to take on the form of various animals according to folklore.
Dubh (duv) the Gaelic word for black.
Our little ghost logo may be white, but he is in black tie because that's how he rolls.

The duo have been working together since they first met in art college back in 2003.
They have since painted many murals together at various street art/graffiti events and festivals and illustrated childrens books such as, "The Little One Asks" and "The Little Flower Bulb" along with working for many performers/musicians and much much more.

Most recently have joined forces using Loki's illustration/painting practise and Splink's graphic design skills to create a range of art prints and products that is
