Kingston Academy of Music Dalkey

The Kingston Academy of Music and The Arts was founded in 2008 to enable the fostering of a community-friendly ethos; supporting and engaging with local and international musicians, visual artists, graphic artists, and writers in all areas of Performance. All individual tuition is accompanied naturally with a follow through of performance and ensemble work. The mission is clear in the nurturing of our future audiences and performers. Currently we tutor a growing Student Body of 150 Families representing over 10 nationalities, and demographically from the Counties Dublin, Wicklow and as far as Westmeath. We welcome all ages and facets of our society.

Our Music Tutor Team is composed of 14 full-scheduled music teachers, a reserve music tutor list and a Piano Accompanist List. We also have an in-house production team.In addition to Music Performance and Tuition, the Academy stimulate and engage in a collaboration of the Arts with cross-sectoral practices in literature, language and visual arts. Our Visual Art Team include Diana Copperwhite and Shirley Copperwhite.
We have established a panel-in-waiting of suitably qualified employees – additional staff who could assist in professionally progressing new ambitious projects that we’ve fully researched and now wish to bring to the next level.
