Kenny's Bar

Kenny's Bar, Lahinch has become a landmark in North Clare, frequented by both locals and visitors alike, for its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. A fourth generation family business, Kenny's humble origins as a coachhouse in the 1830s, has seen it evolve into a gastro pub by day and a highly regarded music venue by night.

Kenny's Bar welcomed many national and international acts to the stage, such as Tim O'Brien & The Crossing, Arty McGlynn, The Woods Brothers, Lisa Hannigan, The Lost Brothers, Liam Ó Maonlaí and Rónán Ó Snodaigh, Declan O'Rourke, Fionn Regan, Gemma Hayes, Luka Bloom, Hat Fitz & Cara Robinson, The Walls, Declan Sinnott, Ben Caplan, Hermitage Green to name but a few. The surfing revolution has brought many a new face to Lahinch and surfers are the latest tribe of customers to Kenny's Bar. Kenny's hosts The Annual Lahinch Open Surf Competition which was first presented on Dough Mor Beach in 1969. Since then, Lahinch has truly become the surfing capital of the Irish West Coast and this combined with our long golfing tradition, make Lahinch a must see destination on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.
